Review of State of the Art Recycling Methods in the Context of Dye Sensitized Solar Cells

In times of climate change and dwindling fossil resources, the need for sustainable renewable energy technologies gains importance, increasingly fast. However, state art are intensive in their production, like monocrystalline photovoltaic, or even consist not recyclable composite material, case wind turbine blades. Despite a lack efficiency stability, dye sensitized solar cells (DSSC) have high potential to supplement green technology future. With low production costs no necessity toxic compounds DSSCs product, which could circulate loops circular economy. Therefore, with this paper, we provide status research on DSSC recycling an outlook how streams be realized future glass-based without components. The overview includes work using recycled material build extending life DSSC, e.g., through rehydration. We also illustrate sustainability VOSviewer tool.
